ABOUT YOUR GUM LINE

Veneers and crowns only cover the natural exposed tooth. They will not cover or change your gum line. If too much of your tooth is covered by gums, a gingivectomy may be recommended. If your gum line is not covering enough of your tooth, you may require gum grafting. Both of these treatments need to be completed before veneer or crown treatment can commence.

ABOUT YOUR GUM HEALTH

Healthy gums are essential for a superior outcome. Puffy, inflamed, bleeding, or red gums are a sign of Gingivitis (gum disease). For optimal results, this must be addressed and managed before proceeding with your veneer or crown treatment. A good cleaning, scale & polish should be performed at least 4-6 weeks before your treatment to address gum disease and maintained afterwards.

ABOUT ANY TOOTH DECAY

The teeth being treated in your package must be healthy and decay-free. Small fillings on the teeth that are having a veneer or crown placed are included in your package. However, it is important to obtain an OPG X-Ray as far in advance as possible to confirm that you do not require any additional treatment. If you are travelling for your treatment, please obtain this before booking your travel.

EXISTING VENEERS, CROWNS, IMPLANTS OR COMPOSITE

Please be sure to let us know if you have any existing crowns, veneers, dental implants, or dentures. Existing veneers or crowns will need to be removed and replaced during your treatment. Please note that we do not offer Dental Implants or Dentures.

YOUR MEDICATIONS OR MEDICAL CONDITIONS

Please ensure that all medications and medical conditions have been disclosed to your Client Manager and that you are aware of all medical clearances or medical summaries that may be required to proceed.

YOUR TRAVEL BOOKINGS

If you are travelling for your treatment, please do not book your flights, accommodation,l leave or any additional arrangements before receiving your Dental Confirmation email with your actual treatment dates and times.
